Forrester, Gardner and many others are discusing the bright future of EA. And most senior architects understand why its needed. Large companies claims they have it.

Yet I have noticed a trend in EA communities and forums; They are not very active. Typically there is a short burst of activity initially, then the interest drops.

Why is this? Is this a classical example of something everybody talk about, but nobody do? Or are there large masses of EA architects out there who arejust not active?
